I haven't fed my cham wild bugs, so I guess I am not that experienced. But I would be worried about parasites. Chams eat wild bugs in their natural habitat (obviously) and they only have a lifespan of a 1-2 years usually. That, and WC chams are known for their parasite levels.
The chemical side was already mentioned.
You can get a variety of bugs online. It is a bit of a pain though. Or, you could look for a store in your area that sells them. Even if it is a bit of a drive you could make weekly trips for some treats. That's what I do.
I am thinking about catching some praying matis' and breeding them for my cham. Before I breed them though, I am going to take one in to be tested for parasites. I will also have the first few batches of babies tested too. You could try breeding some of the wildbugs in your area. You can get a test done by a vet to test for parasites. It's the same as a fecal exam, but wiht bug guts instead of feces.
