Has she been bred or is she just maturing enough to finally produce eggs? If she hasn't been bred, I wouln't recommend mating her until she is at least 12 months of age. There may be people out there that disagree, but your female's life span will be shorter because of it. If you place her near a male, she should turn nearly black with yellow and blue highlights over her body. She will gape and not want anything to do with the male. Good luck.

:How can you tell, the coloring, her abdomen, her behavior?
:Also do I need to do anything to facilitate the egg laying besides providing a laying container and medium? Should I keep temp and humidity the same. I have never bred chams before and any info will be appreciated.
