That's what I meant.
:When you build the cages, leave room for a large UTH or maybe even the wide Flex Watt. That way you will be able to use a larger one if necessary, but it will obviously hold a smaller one.

:When you look at the pictures of the setups used by large breeders you notice that they have stacks of cages right next to each other.
:Since you are starting with a vertical stack and the heat will rise there is a chance you will need to control the individual cages separately.
I talked this over with my mom and she says she would rather that I have one thermostat per cage anyway, so we will be doing that.
:But if that were the case I'd not stack the cages - it will save you a lot of $$ on thermostats.
I saved enough money on the cages to be able to afford the extra thermostats.
