:Eye problem #1 is a bit of sclera, or the hidden portion of the eyecap, that is exposed. It doesn't look inflammed, and will most
likely slip back in to the sulcus or space were it belongs. Do not worry about this. Eye problem #2 is either a dented spectacle (not serious) or a cracked OUTER spectacle, both of which are reasonably common in BP's. The cracking, if that is what it is, may be indicative of dehydration, but I have seen this many times in BP's that were not systemically dehydrated. In every case, whether dented or cracked, the spectacle looked fine once the snake shed. Definitely DO NOT attempt to remove parts of what LOOKS to be retained eyecap. I've seen a case where a vet attempted to remove "this" and irreparable damage was caused to the eye. Damage to deeper layers of the spectacle will produce scarring...Scott J. Michaels DVM
