:Well, I have them in a 5 1/2 gallon with no live moss, just spagnum moss. There are plants in there, lots of places to hide, and one spot with no gravel where there is open water to clean the tank. Since they like it cooler, instead of setting the light directly on the tank, it is hung about 4 inches above so that the light isn't making the tank so warm like it does with the darts' tanks. The temp last time I checked was 76. I don't know how I would make it any cooler unless I just took the light away and gave them fake plants.

:My blushing mantellas are doing fine in those conditions, but I don't know where they are from in the wild since they don't even have a scientific name yet.

All mantellas are form madagascar, bred in captivity, or hybrid in captivity. Blushings could be a hybrid, or a red form of expectata. I have talked to Frank Williams about this and still not sure.
