Hi Al,

indeed he looks somewhat to Anolis brevirostis, his verry close relative. Within some species it's hard to do species determination by photo. Like example the differants to Anolis sagrei sagrei (real Cuban) and Anolis mestrei. Only with an good macroscopic photo and verry much experience you can determine them by counting scales (exept males when displaying).

Like your last picture of Anolis distichus ignigularis look much like an Anolis cristatellus.

"Both are also been set in the genus Ctenonotus (...but offcourse the have all been set back to Anolis)"
