STATUS:  Common

DOCUMENTED COUNTIES:  Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, Tarrant, and Wise

HABITAT:  Trinity River Bottoms, Eastern Cross Timbers, and Blackland Prairie

COMMENTS:  The green anole is invading some of the more established residential areas of the Metroplex.
