Membership Rules & Information

Regular Members

1.  All memberships are annual.

2.  Members receive an identification card with their name and i.d. number on it.

3.  Members are admitted free to all regular meetings of the society.

4.  All members will receive the bi-monthly society newsletter which contains interesting herpetological and herpetocultural information as well as event schedules and program information.

5. Discounts on classified advertising in the society newsletter are available t all members.

6.  Society merchandise (tee shirts, hats pins, etc.) is available at reduced rates to members.

7.  All members are permitted to sell or trade their captive-bred reptiles/amphibians at the end of regular society meetings.

8.  Members may receive discounts at participating pet stores by presenting their society i.d. card at the time of purchase.

9.  Family memberships entitle each member of the immediate family (parents, legal guardians & children) to a society membership card with their name and i.d. number.

Supporting Members

1.  Supporting memberships are principally for businesses or organizations that wish to support the society.

2.  Supporting members receive:  the newsletter, a certificate of membership, discounts on classified ads, permission from the society to advertise your affiliation with the WTHS.

3.  Supporting members DO NOT receive:  individual i.d. cards, free admission to society meetings, discounts on society merchandise or discounts at participating retail merchants.
