Hello people,
I'm thinking in going to the next show, on December 12, although this would be my first time (in the show and in Germany), could you give me some information about it?
I would be going with a friend of mine, but I don't think that there will be tickets to fly directly to Hamm, so I would like to know to which city it would be fine to arrive, where I could take a train or a bus to get there.
Also, do you know if in the area there are hostels where we could stay for cheap?
Regarding to the show.. I'm aware that there is a whole room with venomous snakes. Is there a lot of variety? How are the prices?
Thanks a lot,
Martin |

Hi Martin
It depends on.....where do you come from?
And do you have some special snakes you can only get there?
Because Hamm is pure stress, too many people, you have to wait very long to get in, and inside it's like in the crowd of a festival wavebreaker
Best regards |

The nearest airports to fly to are Dortmund (small airport, few flights), Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn. From there, you can either hire a car, or take the train to Hamm (it's a major railway station, so there should be plenty of connections) - prob about an hour or slightly more from Düsseldorf and Cologne, rather closer to Dortmund.
Cheers,

Hi Martin,
what Wolfgang said is correct. But proably there want be so many flights.
For sure more easy is Frankfurt. From there it will be a 3-4 hours ride , with the train.
You can find it under http://www.bahn.de/p/view/buchung/fahrplan_buchung.shtml
You must use hamm ( Westf.)
The Dec. show is normaly a CB or LTC show.So the last year it was not too busy and you can walk and look around easy.
I booked a table and the Organizer told me that there want be many tables left.
There is a lot of variety and the Prices are OK.But for sure it depends , what you are looking for.
About Hotels , you will find it at Google.
Best Regards Hans |

Thanks a lot for your answers.
I'm from Israel.
I think it would be easy to find a flight from here to Cologne/Bonn, and it shouldn't take more than a few hours.
It's good to know that there is a train which you can take to Hamm.
Does the show last only one day or it's two days? |

Thanks again.
I was looking for information in Google and I found that since this (or last?) year there aren't venomous snakes for sale on the show, because someone sold one of them to a kid and now the organizers banned them, is this right!?
My friend is interested in buying frogs, and if there won't be venomous snakes, I could be interested in buying tarantulas or scorpions.
Does it matter that we want to go on December? I mean, there will be the same quantity of exhibitors and the same prices than in the other two dates or it's worse?
Regards,
Martin |
