|
|
I have seen this topic on many a forum and have seen some real nasty communications involving this topic.
My question is: If you or the next guy wants to own a venomous snake why not leave the animal the way it was created?
The same reasoning is wanting to own a bird but having the wings amputated in case the owner makes a mistake and the bird escapes.
This leads to the next question. Why should the animal have to suffer unnecessary surgery due to human negligence and incompetence? |

| Because people are selfish jerks who are perfectly happy to make an animal suffer if it means they get a shortcut to immediate gratification of their whims. I'm afraid that's the only answer I've ever been able to come up with. I really doubt there is a better one. |

| birds wings are not amputated, they only cut a small part off the end which is why the birds cant fly far only short distances, not even close to what is dont during venomoid surgery. |

Yes but the feathers grow back postponing the initial problem. So amputate the wings solving the problem permanently. _________________ The only difference between people who hate and love reptiles is that those who hate them never tried to know them. |
