The Texas Herpetological Society invites your participation in our Fall 2011 Symposium titled, “A Herpetological Potpourri: Undergraduate and Graduate student research in herpetology ” This symposium will take place on 22 October (Saturday) 2011 in the new Norman Hackerman Building at The University of Texasat Austin. It’s been a while since the theme of the fall symposium was on the speakers rather than a particular region or type of herp, so the THS will focus the spotlight on the student members of THS. We encourage undergraduate students and graduate students to submit abstracts on any herpetology-related subject. Our audience will include members of the herpetological enthusiast community, professionals in wildlife and teaching positions, as well as academics from colleges and universities across the state.
