LBJ National Grasslands

Located in Wise County, just north of the city of Decatur, and managed by the U.S. Forest Service, the Grasslands has 22,000 acres of hills, valleys, streams, mesas, forests and prairie for you to herp on.  Private tracts of land will also be made available to THS. We have reserved the Valley View camp site with a covered pavilion.  Toilets are available and camp sites have picnic tables and lantern holders.  Bring your own water.
