Regular meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at Welding Machine & Torch Repair, 7110 Eckhert Rd., San Antonio, Texas.  Eckhert Road is off Hwy 16 (Bandera Road) between Loop 410 and Loop 1604.  We meet toward the back of the building, in the room with  the sign that says I-CAR over it.  Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

Coming from Loop 410:  Exit Bandera Road.  Go outside the loop 8 traffic lights to Eckhert Road.  Go left on Eckhert, following it around past the UPS building on the right.  The meeting place is on the left just past the UPS building.

Coming from Loop 1604:  Exit Bandera Road.  Go inside the loop 8 or 9 traffic lights to Eckhert Road and turn right.  Follow Eckhert around past the UPS building on the right.  The meeting place is on the left just past the UPS building.

Due to scheduling conflicts  it is sometimes necessary to change this date. Members will be notified of any changes, Non-members should call STHA at (210)520-6101 prior to any meeting at least one week in advance.

Monthly meetings include  presentations and other activities by professionals and amateurs in the field. Members are encouraged to participate in the meetings by sharing ideas, showing animals and discussing their experiences. We encourage parents to bring their children to foster their interest in reptiles and amphibians.
