This beauty was hatched by
Rico Walder and comes from parents with genetic ties to
the Papuan half of New Guinea. She was a red baby and
should be large enough to breed for the first time during
the fall of 2003.

In late
January 2005, PNG began breeding with the albino.
Breeding is continuing and we are hopeful that the
activity will result in a fertile clutch. PNG was a red
baby so this pairing, if successful, could result in the
production a generation of heterozygous hatchlings that
have the chance to produce the first red albino. |
