Nana
was the cleanest of the hatchlings produced by the 2002 Linnaeus
- Haley clutch. As a hatchling he/she
looked to have the most potential for displaying a nearly
complete dorsal stripe, but as she nears the end of ontogenesis,
it's becoming clear that she'll have one of the most incomplete.
One of the great things about this species is its total
unpredictability when it comes to predetermination of adult
coloration. Sometimes the most mundane blossom, and the most
fantastic turn average ...but then again, sometimes they don't.
