This animal was hand-picked
from hundreds of hatchlings produced in the 2002-2003
breeding season at the Bushmaster Reptiles' breeding
facility in Indonesia. She was extraordinary in terms of the
distance her neonatal dorsal markings extended onto her sides.
As she reaches the completion of her color shift, she has
turned into one of the brightest green chondros I've seen
in a long time. Although it's extremely difficult to
accurately photograph, her neonate pattern and some of the
surrounding areas have become almost paradoxically mottled
with a beautiful blue.
