AlbinoChondro.com is the web presence of Damon Salceies Captive Bred Snakes. The name was adopted to convey the primary focus of our current breeding programs. We work with a variety of Green Tree Python morphs, the most famous of which is the world's first albino. We still maintain a small collection of select Colubrid snakes, but our collection has been streamlined in order to concentrate on the exciting possibilities presented by the world's first albino chondro. Thanks for stopping by!

Blue and Gold make?.... 1floydhujan2feb2009c.jpg (348075 bytes)
Floyd seems to really like his new cage mate Hujan. This is a pairing we'd been thinking about for quite some time. Hujan comes from the most potent and long-term high-blue project in history. The combination of her phenotype and lineage with the amelanistic gene could make some very neat things happen. Time will tell, but early impressions of the pairings' progress are very positive.

MORE ALBINOS!!!

A repairing of Linnaeus and Haley, Sire and Dam to Floyd and the rest of the original albino tree python clutch, was successful and resulted in three new albino tree pythons as well as several 66% possible het. animals. One of the albinos was very small and although it put up a valiant struggle, did not survive. The other two were 13+ grams each as hatchlings are are doing extremely well.

PROVING WHAT'S POSSIBLE: 2009
mv jig 24 november 2006 body 800©.jpg (138193 bytes) 2008-2009 will hopefully be the season we get to prove out the 66% possible het. female siblings to the first albino. We took extra time in raising them and now it's time to see what goodies these beautiful Meraukes have in store! mv jig 24 november 2006 head 800©.jpg (145724 bytes)

AVAILABLE ANIMALS:

I have decided to part with a select number of personal holdbacks in an effort to make some room in the collection. Take a look at the Currently Available page to see your next tree python.

GREEN TREE PYTHON EGG VIDEO *updated*

In 2007 we filmed a short video that demonstrates techniques for removing a female from her eggs, candling eggs, and separating adhered eggs. The video's primitive, but seemed useful enough that it might be worth posting here. Hopefully it will provide help to someone just starting out with tree python breeding.
