Below, a young Mottled Rock Rattlesnake, Crotalus lepidus lepidus, 7 months old. It's about 8 inches long, its mama is about 18-20 inches long. It got right upset with all the photographing, and began to rattle. :) This little one has about doubled in size during its seven months of life.

Lauren went to the herp show and bought a baby boa! She got the cornsnake from Teri and Scott.
