This meeting dealt with considerable amounts of business. We discussed membership, dues, advantages of membership, and our "official" response to the sale of "Hots" at the fleamarket. Last month we also talked about this, as there was an article in the local paper concerning this issue. It seems, as the local herp club, it would be wise for us to publish some statement.
Here are some of the beautiful animals that came to this meeting:

Lauren brought her young Ball Python, it's really grown! That's reasonable as it's almost 2 years old. :) Beautiful color. |

Goliath, Lauren's Beardie, was also present and being most sociable. At our end of the table most of us took a turn petting this large and friendly lizard as he walked about. |

| Even little Laurel! |

| Chris brought his adult Hog Island Boa, deep in shed. Funny how we call it "blue" when many snakes are as pink as they can be! |
Bryan showed a neonate carpet python - feisty, striking at everything, trying to kill the camera. :) At that small size and young age snakes are everybody's prey, so they have to be tremendously defensive just to live.

Teri received a rescue cornsnake, it has some sort of injury, broken ribs most likely. Pretty snake. It will have a nice life with Teri and Scott!
Here's an attractive newcomer, a kingsnake. The owner says it is supposed to be a Blotched King.
And here's a young Jungle Carpet Python.
Bryan had an excellent adventure doing some work with Rare Earth, Inc. We look forward to hearing more about this!
