Our Christmas Party. This year we met at Chip's house. He prepared venison chili and we contributed other food and drink. It was a pleasure to see his setups even though most of his snakes were brumating in his "cold room". Fortunately the weather held off getting terrible - there was a winter storm warning and ice and snow expected. It showed up after we went home! :)

zebra eel tiny eel
In a salt water tank, he has an eel, a big zebra striped eel! I'd never seen one up close. It's neat. :) This eel is a new acquisition, a gift. It is tiny, only a few inches long.
fish One of the fish in the salt water tank. I missed getting a picture of the other little fish, it kept zipping around.
octopus
...and who is this, poking tentacles out??? oooh!

Here is the turtle tank.
turtle turtle
Swimming happily. Out onto "dry land".
turtle tank
Still swimming! The tank - swimming hole, dry land, a water fall, live plants. Pretty!
frog Looking for all the world like a plastic toy stuck to the side of the tank, a red eyed green tree frog. ;)

In the snake room, the warm room.
gecko
A rescued leopard gecko, putting on weight, getting better. But still very thin.
colorful snake
How about these beautiful colors!
young snake
A new snake with an unusual color pattern.
adult version
...and here's what it will look like in a year or so!

Last but by no means least, two shots of the womas breeding. :)
