This is a male R. ciliatus, the New Caldonian crested gecko.  These geckos are very easy to care for, they do not require supplemental heating generally, they thrive at normal room temps.  They eat insects and fruit baby foods like peach or apricot.  The males have a distinct call; one person told me when he goes to shows with these animals, they keep him up all night in the hotel room with noise.
