New Home Request

Please fill out the following form. You may fax this form to 651 487 5471 or present it to IRN upon surrender of your iguana.

We require a $50 surrender fee for each surrendered iguana. This money goes toward providing health care, food and a habitat (including electricity) for each iguana. All iguanas are examined by a veterinarian immediately upon surrender and any required medical care is instituted. In many cases, this surrender fee is spent within the first month the iguana stays at Iguana Relocation Network. Unfortunately, more people surrender these lizards than are interested in adopting them and IRN ends up keeping many of these animals for over 1 year. We have several that we have had for over 2 years. Please keep this in mind when considering our surrender fee.

Please remember, we are located in MN and you are responsible for transporting your iguana to us if we do not have a foster home or adopter in your area. Make sure you also check out our Iguanas From other Rescues page to see if there is a local rescue closer to you.
