Tongs and Snake Hooks

Tongs: I own a pair of tongs but I rarely use them unless I'm going on a snake call to remove a venomous species. The ones I use are from Midwest and are very nicely made.

Hooks: I've owned several snake hooks through the years. I've bent many of them using them to flip rocks, mattresses, boards, logs, etc. Recently I acquired a hook made by Damon Salceies. I went out the other day and put Damon's hook through the wringer flipping everything but cars. This is by far the best hook, I've ever used. His attn. to detail is evident. As a fellow herper himself, he knew what was needed. If you're in the market for a snake hook, do yourself a favor, pick one up from Damon.
