River Road
My favorite locality because of its
variability. It is always a
pleasant surprise when the eggs start hatching! Base color ranges from light gray
or buckskin to almost jet-black. The
majority are alterna or intermediate phase, but
“true” blairs are also occasionally produced. Some specimens are heavily
speckled. This is just a sampling of my diverse group.
