It pays to hunt around. I fed dog food because the local feed store wanted 46 bucks for mazuri. I found a local breeder who was willing to sell me his chow for 16 bucks (50#). I have 1/2" X 1" wire feeders and his pellet size and that wire size result in almost zero loss. I'm sure there is some "dust" but I rarely find a 1/4 pellet even. Consider both cost and waste when you compare price.
