for those of you who were around when i posted about broken jaw, the adult male collared i found with a broken jaw, i found him alive and well today. i believe i had found him early last spring, but after that i had seen neither hide nor hair of him, and worried that something may have happened to him. today i was walking thru the desert where i have marked collareds, and i see an adult male on a small rock under a creosote. after a few false starts i finally catch him by hand and see that it is broken jaw. looking really healthy and sleek.
