Hi Joe,
Welcome to our obsession. I'd have to disagree with your breeder. I've watched my frogs drink from, hunt in, and playing in my streams and ponds. Besides, they help keep the humidity high and add to the nature feel of a tank. I think you should, at least, have a waterdish or two in their tank. If you add a stream, your frogs will use it.
