My son found two leathery opaque white lizard eggs about 1/2" long, with what appears to be viable embryo inside. They were in his sandbox which has been covered with a tarp for a month. The only lizards I have seen lately are the alligators, just found one one week ago. I am wondering if lizards do lay eggs this time of year, and if there are any suggestions on how to incubate the eggs. We put them in a cup that was in the sandbox, filled it with sand from the sand box and covered them about 1/2" with sand. Would love to hatch these guys and let them go!
