USA trip I Herping Texas and the 26th IHS (International Herpetological Symposium) meeting 2002

I planned this trip because I was invited as a guest speaker at the 26th IHS (International Herpetological Symposium) anniversary in Saint Louis Missouri . The IHS was hold on the 18-21th of July and had a wide variety of speakers from different countries with many different and interesting subjects. At this symposium I met many new people and friends.

The two weeks before the HIS I stayed at John Hollister’s place and he drove me around Texas and some other states on field herping. Unfortunately was the weather to hot, to dry and the air pressure to high to find many herps but I have seen many mammals that I also like.

I like to thank everybody that gave me a great time on this trip.

Cris also let me play with his AK-47 riffle and I found out that shooting a riffle is not as easy as it looks :-)
