They are strong feeders and grow fast. Male spiders have been known to breed in as few as 8 months of age and under 500 grams!

When crossed with other morphs spiders make some truly amazing designer balls. The Bumble bee and ghost spider are just a couple of beautiful examples. The spider is a dominant gene.
