Probably the most misunderstood and problematic of any known python. Boelen's Pythons are native to the highlands of New Guinea and Irian Jaya. Temperatures in these environments are much cooler than most known python habitats. However these incredibly adaptive animals are mostly a stunning jet black to absorb the suns energy and thrive were other boids could not.

We were lucky enough to acquire a small group of babies. They seem to be thriving and are growing like weeds. We are realistic in our approach and know this is more of a for "fun " project. I have to say though these guys caught me off guard! They are stunning, calm, easy going and deliberate. They are the most intelligent boid i have ever worked with. I never realized how much i would enjoy them.
