      LOCALITIES OBSERVED:  Collin Co.:  Brockdale Park area near Lake Lavon;  Dallas Co.:  below Bachman Lake dam, Seagoville area, Lemmon Lake, 4 mi S of Grand Prairie, and Spring Creek area N of Garland;  Denton Co.:  .5 mi N of FM 455 near FM 372, Grapevine Lake area, and 1.2 mi N of Blackjack Rd. and Main St. of Aubrey;  Johnson Co.:  6 mi S of Park Rd. 21 on US 67, 12.8 mi W of Rio Vista at Johnson Ranch, and 2.2 mi S of Park Rd. 21 on US 67;  Parker Co.:  Rio Brazos Estates S of Weatherford on the Brazos River and 3.5 mi N of Tx 199 in Springtown on FM 51;  Tarrant Co.:  Wakeforest Ct. and Hillridge Ct. in NW Arlington, Carswell Air Force Base, below Grapevine Lake dam, Briarwood in Arlington, Euless area, Benbrook-Aledo Rd., and Riverside area of Ft.       COMMENTS:  One of the few snakes that is common in residentual areas.
