      LOCALITIES OBSERVED:  Dallas Co.:  Lombardy Lane at US 77 and Forest Ave. at the Trinity River;  Denton Co.:  4 mi W of Aubrey;  Kaufman Co.:  2 mi W of FM 2965 near I-20 and 9.4 mi ESE of Tx 34 on FM 1836;  Somervell Co.:  .6 mi S of Glen Rose;  Tarrant Co.:  I-820 at the West Fork of the Trinity River in Hurst, Ft. Worth Nature Center, and creek near Benbrook-Aledo Rd;  Wise Co.:  Lyndon B. Johnson Nat'l Grasslands NW of Decatur and 3.5 mi NNW of Decatur

      DOCUMENTED COUNTIES:  Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise

      HABITAT:  Trinity River Bottoms, Fort Worth Prairie, Western Cross Timbers, and Eastern Cross Timbers

      SUBSPECIES:  Prairie Racerunner (C. s. viridis Lowe, 1966)
