      STATUS:  Uncommon

      LOCALITIES OBSERVED:  Dallas Co.:  Lancaster Club Lake E of Hutchins, and Lemmon Lake;  Parker Co.:  near Rio Brazos Estates on Brazos River; Somervell Co.:  1.1 mi SW of US 67 on Van Zandt Rd;  Tarrant Co.:  Ft. Worth Nature Center and railroad trestle over Indian Creek near FM 718;  Wise Co.:  Lyndon B. Johnson Nat'l Grasslands near Black Lake

      DOCUMENTED COUNTIES:  Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hood, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise

      HABITAT:  Trinity River Bottoms, Brazos River Bottoms, Western Cross Timbers, and Post Oak Belt

      COMMENTS:  In the field, these two sympatric species can only be distinguished by their calls.
