So... No one has been able to explain to me why we are letting the Lacey Act stop us. The wording in the Act is very clear. In order for any person to violate the Lacey Act, they must first violate a different State, Local, or Federal law. If no other law is broken, they can not be charged with a Lacey Act violation. Can someone point out to me where in the Lacey Act it says that they don't have to follow that part of the law?

The lacy act states just what you said that you cannot violate federal local or state laws. If the federal government imposes a law that says interstate transport of these animals across state lines is illegal then you are indeed in violation of the Lacey act.

Most definitely, but I am not aware of any law federal, state, or local that bans the transport of Burmese Pythons, Reticulated Pythons, or any other constrictor. I suppose Florida may have some, but the vast majority of states do not.

That's my old Peruvian. I took that picture.
